O.S.P. Power Dunk. Il Power Dunk SP ci consente di pescare in vari luoghi, dalle piccole cave, ai fiumi di profondità, ai grossi laghi. La situazione in cui il Power Dunk mette in mostra tutto il suo potenziale è soprattutto quando i bass non reagiscono al movimento dei normali deep crank. Ad esempio, nel caso di un abbassamento della temperatura dell'acqua, dall'autunno alla primavera, oppure in situazioni di acqua chiara o di forte pressione di pesca. La prima ragione che spiega l'enorme differenza in termini di catture tra il Power Dunk e i normali deep crank è l'incredibile capacità di lancio di questo shad dal corpo piccolo. Il vantaggio è che possiamo ricercare i bass anche in situazioni di vento sfavorevoli, cosa impossibile con altri crank di tale misura. Abbiamo registrato una profondità di affondamento di 4,2 metri con filo fluorocarbon 8lbs. La fascia di maggiori catture è quella quindi che va dai 2 ai 4 metri, tenendo ben presente che è possibile farlo sbattere sul fondo in caso di fondali bassi, grazie alla sua caratteristica proprietà antialga. Il Power Dunk può essere utilizzato anche con una tecnica specifica, chiamata hung-off. Si tratta di recuperare dolcemente l'esca fino al leggero contatto tra la paletta e gli ostacoli in acqua, rifugio abituale dei bass, lasciare il Power Dunk sospeso alcuni secondi e attendere l'abboccata. Il Power Dunk ha altissime prestazioni in termini di proprietà antialga, lancio lungo, efficacia in acque profonde. Uno shad di una nuova dimensione in grado di catturare i bass che non si lasciavano ingannare dalle normali hard lure!

However, the Power Dunk SP can be used with bait-casting tackle in small lakes, big lakes, deep reservoirs, and deep rivers. Its powers are displayed most under tough conditions when the bass won’t react to the wide movements of deep crankbaits. Some examples of tough conditions are when bass are less active in colder water temperature (from autumn to spring), when the deep crankbaits are easily foreseen in clear water, and in reservoirs where the fishing pressure is high regardless of the season. The Power Dunk SP is effective due to its long castability unimaginable from its body size. It can attract bass even in big lakes where fishing can be easily affected by winds. It is also virtually snag-free while fishing various covers such as riprap and weed. Shad-style crankbaits are commonly known to be hard to use around cover due to snagging, but the Power Dunk SP has redefined the uses for them. The miraculous snaglessness, the long castability, and the deep diving range of this crankbait have overcome the “impossibilities” of other hard lures.
